Residents in Ibiza and Viana protest urban planning and parking issues

Residents in Ibiza and Viana are expressing frustration over local urban management and parking issues. In Ibiza, neighbors at es Soto have reported that the es Soto tunnel is being used as a regular parking area. They are calling for increased surveillance and intervention from the Local Police to address what they describe as a daily occurrence.

In Viana, a new bicycle lane project has sparked controversy due to the planned removal of over 70 parking spaces. Local residents claim that Mayor Yolanda González has failed to meet with them to discuss the impact of the works, despite previous commitments. The project, which was awarded to the company Calidad, Organización y Vivienda S.L., has a budget of approximately 319,400 euros and is expected to take six months to complete.
