Resistencia to host Alfie Syndrome awareness event

An awareness event for Alfie Syndrome, also known as a partial lesion of the 9P chromosome, will be held this Saturday at the Domo del Centenario ‘Zitto Segovia’ in Resistencia. The event, titled ‘El rincón de Luma’, is organized with the support of the Municipality of Resistencia.

Organizers aim to increase visibility for the rare condition, which causes developmental delays and generalized muscle hypotonia. The event will feature games and a storytelling session based on a book created specifically to teach children about the syndrome through interactive challenges.
