Resistencia woman arrested for attacking ex-partner with boiling water

A 35-year-old woman, Claudia Elizabeth Romero, has been arrested in Resistencia, Argentina, following an attack on her former partner. The incident occurred on August 24 during an argument at a residence on Honestidad Street.

According to police reports and the victim's mother, Romero allegedly threw boiling water on 27-year-old Juan Cruz Silvero. The victim sustained second-degree burns on both hands, his legs, and one thigh. He was transported to the Hospital Julio C. Perrando, where he remains under care in the plastic surgery department.

Following a report filed by the victim's mother, authorities launched an investigation. Romero was apprehended on August 28 in the Vista Linda neighborhood after police conducted searches in the area. The case is being handled by Prosecutor Liliana Beatriz Irala of Fiscal Team No. 10, and the charges are currently categorized as alleged injuries.
