Resky Yusuf Hermawan wins first Thailand Talent Cup race

Resky Yusuf Hermawan, a racer sponsored by PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM), secured his first victory in the Idemitsu Honda Thailand Talent Cup (TTC) 2026. The win occurred during the first race of the fifth series held at the Chang International Circuit in Buriram, Thailand, on Saturday, October 17.

Despite starting from the first grid position, Resky faced challenges early in the race, falling into the middle of the pack after being caught in a slipstream at the third corner. During the 13th lap, the competition intensified, causing both Resky and his teammate, Abimanyu Fermadi, to drop to eighth and ninth positions, respectively.

In a decisive final lap, Resky overtook multiple riders to finish in first place with a margin of 0.217 seconds. He also recorded the fastest lap time of 1:49.269. Abimanyu Fermadi finished the race in seventh place, earning nine points for the team.
