Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy collector box announced, trailer released

Focus Entertainment and Asobo Studio revealed an exclusive collector box for the upcoming prequel Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy. The box, priced at €149, can be pre‑ordered now and will ship in late October, a few weeks after the game's launch on 26 August for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. It includes hand‑painted 23‑cm figures of the protagonists Sophia and Theseus, printed artwork, a metal replica ring, and a steelbook, but does not contain the game itself.

A separate promotional trailer showcasing the game's medieval environments was also released, highlighting detailed set pieces such as a torch‑lit plaza, a mysterious beach entrance, towering statues and dynamic weather effects. The trailer confirms that the story takes place fifteen years before the events of the original A Plague Tale, with an increased focus on action gameplay. The game is slated for a worldwide release on 27 August and will be available day‑one for Xbox Game Pass subscribers.
