Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy receives critical acclaim and MSI monitor bundle

The video game Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy, developed by Asobo Studio and published by Focus Entertainment, has received positive critical reception following its release. Critics have praised the title for its emotional storytelling, atmosphere, and its shift from traditional stealth mechanics toward an action-adventure gameplay style featuring direct combat.

The game follows the character Sophia through settings ranging from Venice to the Minotaur Island, exploring the origins of the Macula. To celebrate the game's success and availability on platforms such as PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, MSI has announced a promotional bundle. Customers purchasing selected MSI QD-OLED monitors can redeem a code to unlock the game for free through the official MSI store until September 28, subject to availability.

Separately, John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando has released its second major free update, titled Retrieval. Developed by Saber Interactive, the update introduces a new Retrieval Mode where players collect relics across four new maps while avoiding hordes of zombies and new enemy types called Goblins. The update also adds new weaponry, movement mechanics, and a planned crossover with Fortnite.
