Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy reveals story trailer and PC specs

Asobo Studio and Focus Entertainment have released new details for Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy, a prequel to the A Plague Tale series set 15 years before the events of Requiem. A new story trailer highlights the journey of young Sophia and her companion Leni as they flee Venice for Minotaur Island, exploring ancient ruins and uncovering the origins of the Macula. The game features a dual-timeline mechanic shifting between the Middle Ages and Minoan antiquity.

Official PC system requirements have been confirmed. For minimum settings at 1080p/30 FPS, players need an Intel Core i3-12100 or AMD Ryzen 3 3100, 16GB of RAM, and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 (6GB) or AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT. An SSD is mandatory to prevent texture-streaming issues. Recommended specs for 1080p/60 FPS at Ultra settings include an Intel Core i5-12400F or AMD Ryzen 5 5600X, 16GB of RAM, and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti or AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT.

Additionally, composer Olivier Derivière announced that the game’s original soundtrack will be available on streaming services starting August 17. The score features performances by The Amalgamation Choir and various traditional instruments.
