Resovia and Warta Zawiercie prepare for Tauron Liga clash

Resovia and Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie are set to face each other in a highly anticipated Tauron Liga match on November 8. Both teams experienced difficult starts to the season before finding momentum through recent victories.

Resovia initially struggled after losing a match to Jasna Góra despite leading 2:0, but they have since secured consecutive wins against InPost ChKS Chełm and Energa Trefla Gdańska. Resovia player Szalpuk emphasized that the team intends to fight hard against Zawiercie, whom he described as one of the best teams in Poland and Europe.

Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie, led by coach Michał Winiarski, also faced early setbacks, including a loss to GKS Katowice and the Polish Super Cup. However, the team has rebounded with wins over ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle and PGE Projekt Warszawa. The Zawiercie roster features a high concentration of Polish national team players, including Tomasz Fornal, Jakub Kochanowski, and Mateusz Bieniek.
