Resovia Rzeszów appoints Dariusz Kantor as new head coach

Resovia Rzeszów has appointed Dariusz Kantor as its new head coach following the dismissal of Kamil Kuzera. The decision comes after a poor start to the Betclic 2 Liga season, during which the club earned only three points from eight matches and sat at the bottom of the league table.

Kantor, 39, previously played for Resovia between 2009 and 2012. His coaching background includes significant stints with Wisłoka Dębica and Siarka Tarnobrzeg. Most recently, he managed Stal Stalowa Wola, where he secured the team's league survival by earning 11 points in his final five matches of the previous season.

Kantor was selected over other candidates, including Marcin Sasal, to lead the team through its current crisis. His debut is expected to take place in the upcoming Podkarpacie derby match.
