Restaurant technology firms prioritize AI and leadership shifts

The restaurant technology sector is undergoing a transformation driven by artificial intelligence and edge technologies. To support this shift, Qu has appointed Paul Rubin, founder of Brink POS, as its Chief Product & Technology Officer. Rubin, who has over 30 years of experience with brands such as Starbucks and Jack in the Box, will lead Qu’s product and engineering roadmap to advance its vision for connected, AI-enabled operations.

In a related industry discussion, a webinar hosted by QSR Media and Crunchtime explored how multi-site restaurant operators can utilize AI to improve margins, strengthen brand consistency, and enhance operational decision-making. Experts from KPMG and GOPIZZA shared insights on modernizing the daily operations lifecycle and applying AI to scale adoption across multiple restaurant locations.
