Restaurant Week festivals launch in Recife and Salvador
Various cities in Brazil are hosting editions of the Restaurant Week festival, celebrating regional and national culinary diversity.
The 26th edition of Recife Restaurant Week is currently underway and will run until November 15. Featuring more than 50 restaurants, this year’s theme focuses on the gastronomy of Recife, highlighting the diverse influences of Pernambuco cuisine. A portion of the proceeds from the dishes sold during the event will be donated to charitable works.
In Salvador, the 28th edition of Salvador Restaurant Week is running until November 1. Under the theme ‘Brasil de Norte a Sul’ (Brazil from North to South), the festival showcases a wide range of Brazilian flavors. Participating establishments, such as Almacen Pepe, are offering premium menus that include appetizers, main courses, and desserts at fixed prices to provide accessible gastronomic experiences.
