Restoration projects approved for historic buildings in Marigliano and Reggio Emilia

In Marigliano, the municipal administration has approved the executive project for the second phase of restoration at Palazzo Verna. This phase, valued at approximately 5.86 million euros, focuses on the functionalization and enhancement of the historic building. The project is part of a larger initiative funded by the Institutional Development Contract, which aims to transform the site into a usable public space. Previous work included safety measures and cleaning, while the current stage represents the main phase of the intervention.

In Reggio Emilia, Palazzo Magnani has completed its restoration and is preparing to reopen to the public this November. The renovation, costing nearly 977,105 euros, involved a collaboration between the Province of Reggio Emilia, the Emilia-Romagna Region, and the Fondazione Palazzo Magnani. The works included restoring the historic facade and balcony, as well as modernizing internal electrical, mechanical, and fire safety systems. The building will host the exhibition ‘Le porte dell’invisibile’ to mark its reopening.
