ResumeUp AI launches conversational resume builder, reaches 500,000 users
ResumeUp AI, a U.S.-based AI career platform, announced a major revamp of its resume‑building service after surpassing 500,000 users. The new tool replaces traditional forms with a real‑time conversational interface that lets job seekers describe their experience, upload existing resumes, or paste job descriptions, and receive AI‑generated summaries, skills, and achievement‑focused bullet points. The platform’s templates have been tested against major applicant‑tracking systems—including Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, iCIMS, and Oracle Taleo—as well as additional ATSs such as Ashby and SAP SuccessFactors, with quarterly testing planned.
Separately, an independent developer released ResumeMD, a split‑pane Markdown resume editor designed for the AI‑paste workflow. ResumeMD stores data locally, requires no sign‑up, and renders Markdown on the left while showing a styled PDF preview on the right. The tool supports 32 templates, uses React‑Markdown for rendering, and allows users to export PDFs, import LinkedIn data, and customize layouts without backend calls.
