Resursa Obywatelska to host ‘Ślad na Wąskiej’ community event

Resursa Obywatelska is hosting the third edition of its outdoor event, ‘Ślad na Wąskiej’, on Sunday, August 23, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. This year’s theme focuses on community, using textile as a metaphor for social connection.

The event aims to foster dialogue and strengthen local identity through the lens of Jewish culture, including Ashkenazi, Mizrahi, and Sephardic traditions. The program features musical performances by Olga Avigail and Erez Mounk, a storytelling spectacle by Katarzyna Jackowska-Enemuo and Mateusz Szemraj, and Sephardic music by the Bakht Trio.

Attendees can participate in various workshops, including music creation, circle dancing, and traditional weaving. A communal loom will be set up on Wąska Street, allowing passersby to contribute their own threads to a collective textile piece. The event also includes culinary offerings and sand-brewed coffee.
