RET to host charity transit competition in Rotterdam
The RET is organizing the fourth edition of ‘De Slimste Rit’, a public transport competition scheduled for Thursday, September 24. Teams of two to four people will navigate the Rotterdam region using buses, trams, and metros to reach various locations within a set timeframe.
The winning team will receive 5,000 euros for a charity of their choice. Additionally, the second and third-place teams will also receive contributions for their selected causes. RET Director Linda Boot stated that the initiative aims to support associations, foundations, and other social initiatives within the region.
The competition begins at 18:00 at Rotterdam Blaak station and concludes at 21:30. Registration for the event is open until September 16.
