Retail expansion in Brazil: Grupo Koch reaches 100 stores and new mall opens in Brasília

Grupo Koch has reached a milestone with the opening of its 100th store, a Komprão unit in the Cordeiros neighborhood of Itajaí, Santa Catarina. Scheduled to open on September 24, the facility covers approximately 15,000 square meters and includes 43 checkout counters and 400 parking spaces. CEO José Koch noted that the location was chosen due to Itajaí’s economic growth and population, which is estimated to exceed 300,000 inhabitants.

In Brasília, the Partage Lago Sul shopping center has opened near the Brasília International Airport. The development features 131 stores, including several brands new to the capital, along with seven anchor tenants such as Renner and Riachuelo. The complex offers 44,000 square meters of leasable area, a VIP cinema, restaurants, and a gym.
