Retail expansions announced for mobility and bicycle stores in Japan

Several retail expansions are scheduled for September 2026 in Japan. Up Garage Group will open the Up Garage Riders Osaka Suminoe store on September 19, 2026. This new franchise location will be attached to an existing four-wheel vehicle store, creating a comprehensive mobility hub that offers parts, tires, and maintenance services for both cars and motorcycles.

Additionally, Cycle Base Asahi is set to open its Yokohama Yoshinocho store in Minami Ward, Yokohama, on September 11, 2026. The new location will offer a variety of bicycles, including city cycles, electric-assist models, and children's bikes, alongside repair and inspection services. To mark the opening, the company will hold a promotional sale from September 11 through October 12, 2026.
