Retail openings draw large crowds in Trabzon and Tekirdağ

New retail establishments in Turkey have experienced significant consumer interest during recent openings. In Trabzon, the local market chain Gülmar opened its eighth branch in the Yalıncak district. The new facility features social and gaming areas alongside standard grocery offerings. Gülmar Chairman Emre Güler noted that the company now employs over 250 people and aims to expand further.

In the Süleymanpaşa district of Tekirdağ, a new glassware store experienced a large crowd surge due to opening-day discounts. Hundreds of citizens gathered before opening, leading to congestion at the entrance and difficulty managing the store aisles. Store partner Ümit Yaşar stated that the turnout exceeded expectations and apologized for any difficulties caused by the intense crowd.
