Retail updates: New business openings across Japanese shopping districts

Various commercial facilities in Japan are announcing new business openings and seasonal retail updates for late 2026.

In Ichikawa, the Japanese restaurant ‘Wa Usami’ opened on September 26 at the Arc Town shopping street near Kita-Kokubun Station. The establishment operates from 17:00 to 23:00.

In Kusatsu, the eyewear retailer ‘Megane no Wink’ has commenced operations on the second floor of the LTY932 commercial complex, marking its first appearance in the Kusatsu and Ritto areas.

In Urayasu, the Ikspiari shopping mall near Maihama Station is preparing for a series of autumn updates. New permanent locations include ‘Tsukemen TETSU’, ‘Nanaya’s Green Tea’, ‘Sai Sai Mala Tang’, and the apparel brand ‘F i. n. t’. Additionally, several limited-time shops such as ‘Katanukiya’ and ‘21-ji ni Ice’ are scheduled to appear throughout October to coincide with Halloween events.
