Retailer NORMAL expands presence in Ireland and Denmark

Danish discount retailer NORMAL is continuing its rapid expansion across Europe with new store openings in Ireland and Denmark.

In Ireland, the retailer is reportedly planning to open a new location in Waterford city centre. Job advertisements for a Store Manager suggest the site may be located on Great George’s Street, potentially occupying the former Argos premises. This follows the company's recent expansion in Ireland, which includes existing outlets in Dublin, Cork, and Mullingar.

In Denmark, the chain is set to open its seventh store in Aalborg at the Kennedy Arkaden shopping centre on September 30. The retailer, which specializes in a ‘treasure hunt’ shopping experience featuring beauty, personal care, and household products, has grown to over 1,000 stores across 13 European countries since its founding in 2013.
