Retailers and energy providers offer various consumer discounts

Various retailers and energy providers in the Netherlands and Belgium are offering significant consumer discounts and promotions.

Action has reintroduced the Hyundai Electronics Phoenix Pro II cordless stick vacuum to its online shop for 99 euros. The device features a 400-watt motor, 32 kPa suction power, and a 60-minute battery life in eco-mode. Additionally, Action is offering a Varo leaf blower and vacuum for autumn garden maintenance.

In the energy sector, Luminus is offering new customers an average discount of 540 euros on specific contracts, such as Comfy and ComfyFlex. Meanwhile, Mega is providing average savings of 515 euros on Smart Flex contracts through reduced electricity and gas rates, as well as a 25 percent discount on Smart Fixed contracts.

Supermarket chains including Albert Heijn, Aldi, Carrefour, and Delhaize are also running weekly promotions. Notably, Albert Heijn is offering a 50 percent discount on large packs of minced meat as part of its ‘Bulk Deals’ campaign.
