Retailers expand presence in Germany with new store openings

Retail expansion continues in Germany with new store openings announced for Bath & Body Works and Woolworth.

Bath & Body Works is set to open a new store at the Westfield Centro in Oberhausen on June 11, 2026. The approximately 150-square-meter location will be the brand's second store in North Rhine-Westphalia and its third in Germany, following previous openings in Munich and Cologne. The US-based retailer specializes in personal care, fragrances, and home scents.

In Zweibrücken, the discount retailer Woolworth has announced it will open at the former City-Outlet on October 8. Following the handover of keys from the property manager Gewobau, the company is currently seeking staff to prepare for the launch, aiming to participate in the pre-Christmas shopping season.
