Retailers in Hungary launch early Christmas seasonal products

Major retailers in Hungary have begun introducing holiday seasonal goods ahead of the winter season. Auchan has launched its Christmas collection, featuring over 2,300 toys and 1,300 decorative items, ranging from traditional ornaments to luxury artificial trees. According to Attila Nagy, Auchan Retail Hungary's operations and sales director, prices for these items are expected to remain stable compared to last year. The retailer is also offering holiday shopping via online platforms and CoolBox automated machines.

Additionally, Alexandra Kiadó has announced its 2026 advent calendars. These products include various options, such as a version containing nine books and other festive gifts like candles and bookmarks, as well as a version featuring 13 books and additional seasonal surprises. Both calendar options are designed to provide a daily gift from December 1 until Christmas Eve.
