Retailers in Mexico begin early sale of Christmas decorations
Retailers in Mexican cities such as Morelia and Reynosa have begun displaying Christmas decorations, including trees, lights, and ornaments, as early as September.
In Morelia, department stores are showcasing a variety of artificial trees ranging from 1.50 to 2.10 meters, with prices varying significantly based on size and style. These holiday items are appearing in aisles while autumn celebrations like Day of the Dead and Halloween have yet to take place.
Similarly, in Reynosa, Christmas merchandise is sharing shelf space with Halloween and Day of the Dead products. This early commercial push aims to meet consumer demand ahead of the year's most significant shopping period, allowing customers to browse decorations months before the December holidays.
