Retaining wall collapse in Kajang damages six vehicles

A five-meter-high retaining wall collapsed along Jalan Nilam in Kajang, Malaysia, following heavy rainfall on a recent afternoon. The collapse, which occurred around 5:00 PM, buried six vehicles parked near the affected area, including three cars—a Proton Saga, a Proton Satria, and a Proton Wira Aeroback—and three motorcycles.

Kajang District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Naazron Abdul Yusof stated that preliminary investigations suggest the wall failed to withstand soil movement caused by heavy rain that began around 3:00 PM. While several vehicles sustained damage, no fatalities or injuries were reported in the incident. Authorities are continuing to investigate the exact cause of the collapse.
