Retezat National Park introduces online and SMS ticket payments

Visitors to Retezat National Park now have new options for purchasing entry tickets to facilitate easier access to hiking trails. Tourists can pay for their tickets online via the iaBilet.ro and Easy2Visit platforms, or through SMS by sending specific codes to the number 7494.

The standard ticket price is 10 lei per person, including VAT, and is valid for seven days. For those choosing the SMS method, the cost is 2 euro plus VAT per ticket. To purchase via SMS, visitors must send codes PNR1 through PNR5 depending on the number of tickets required (one to five).

Due to fluctuating mobile signals in mountainous areas, the Retezat National Park Administration advises tourists to download their electronic tickets or save their SMS confirmation messages before entering the trails. While digital options are available to reduce congestion at access points, physical tickets can still be purchased at main park entry locations.
