Rethymno water infrastructure plan re-announced by Greek Ministry

The Greek Ministry of National Economy and Finance has re-announced the call for the Holistic Plan of DEYA Rethymno, a project aimed at addressing long-standing water supply and sewage infrastructure needs in the city and its surrounding settlements.

New Democracy MP Giannis Kefalogiannis stated that the re-announcement ensures the project remains viable. The development paves the way for the implementation of works with a budget of 49.6 million euros and validates the overall Holistic Plan, which totals 90 million euros, ahead of future funding calls. The plan is the result of long-term efforts by the Municipality of Rethymno and its municipal enterprise.
