Retiro dos Artistas hosts bazaar featuring Jô Soares' personal belongings

The Retiro dos Artistas, a Rio de Janeiro institution that supports elderly arts professionals, is hosting a bazaar featuring personal items belonging to the late comedian and presenter Jô Soares. The collection includes clothing, hats, belts, tableware, furniture, and his signature suspenders.

The items were donated by Flávia Pedras, the widow of Soares, to assist with the institution's maintenance costs, which exceed R$ 300,000 per month. Prices for the items range from R$ 50 for socks to R$ 3,000 for sofas and armchairs.

Sales are being conducted exclusively in person at the institution's headquarters in Jacarepaguá. Items that are not sold during this event will be held for future bazaars.
