Retroid handheld consoles offer high-performance emulation

Retroid has released handheld gaming devices designed for high-performance emulation. The Retroid Pocket 6, now available in Portugal through retailers like Powerplanet, features a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip and an Adreno 740 GPU. This hardware, paired with an active cooling fan, allows the device to emulate various platforms including PlayStation 2, Nintendo Switch, Wii, GameCube, and Nintendo 3DS. The device includes a 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED screen and is offered in multiple configurations ranging from 8GB to 12GB of RAM.

Additionally, the Retroid Pocket Nova provides an Android-based platform for retro gaming enthusiasts. Users can optimize the experience by configuring specific launchers, such as the Nova Launcher or ESDE, and utilizing emulators like RetroArch, Dolphin, and ARM SX2. The device supports high-speed microSD cards for storage and allows for advanced customizations including audio enhancements and cloud save syncing.
