Reus celebrates Gaudí centenary with heritage tours and concerts

The city of Reus is hosting several cultural initiatives as part of the ‘Any Gaudí’ (Gaudí Year), commemorating the centenary of the architect’s death.

The ‘Reus Ocult’ association is organizing its 12th edition, featuring free visits to eleven heritage sites and three thematic routes. These include a literary route at the Centre de Lectura, a historical walk along Hospital Street, and a tour focused on the city’s banking architecture. Notable locations included in the program are the Palau Bofarull, the Municipal and Regional Archive, and the Hospital Universitari Sant Joan.

Complementing these heritage tours, a concert cycle organized by the Reus Promoció Agency and Reus Cultura will conclude with two performances. The duo Los Sara Fontan is scheduled to perform on October 23 at the Institut Salvador Vilaseca, followed by Anna Amigó on November 20 at the Museu de Reus - La Llibertat.
