Reus welcomes two new Japanese‑style eateries

The city of Reus has expanded its dining scene with the opening of Tasty Poke Bar on Carrer Major. The chain, founded in Madrid in 2017, opened its doors on 29 July and offers customizable poke bowls featuring salmon, tuna, chicken, vegan options and a range of toppings such as mango, avocado and edamame, as well as açaí bowls for breakfast and snacks.

Aki Japo is slated to open shortly on Carrer de Monterols, marking the brand’s first mainland outlet after operating in Palma. Its menu will centre on Japanese street‑food staples, including sonigiris (rice balls) with fillings like chicken, tuna or shrimp, as well as karaage, takoyaki, gyozas and a sushi‑pop concept.

Both venues aim to provide fresh, fast‑service meals that blend Hawaiian and Japanese flavors, adding new options for locals and visitors in Reus’s city centre.
