Reutlingen: High-speed collision causes 40,000 euros in damage

A high-speed collision occurred on a parking lot in Reutlingen during the night between Saturday and Sunday, resulting in approximately 40,000 euros in total damages. The accident involved a Porsche 911 Turbo and a BMW 3 Series.

A 22-year-old Porsche driver, reportedly driving at excessive speeds amidst a gathering of approximately 100 people from the car tuning scene, collided with a BMW that was being parked by a 21-year-old. The BMW driver and a passenger sustained minor injuries but did not require further medical treatment. The Porsche sustained roughly 30,000 euros in damage, while the BMW sustained about 10,000 euros in damage.

Authorities have seized the Porsche for technical examination following a suspicion of illegal car racing. Police are calling for witnesses to come forward with information regarding the driver's behavior and the circumstances of the accident.
