Revanth Reddy vows Congress rule in Telangana until 2034

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has launched a political offensive against the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), claiming the Congress party will lead the state for a decade until 2034. During a visit to the Sircilla constituency, Reddy promised that any Congress candidate who wins the Sircilla Assembly seat—currently held by BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR)—will be appointed to the state cabinet.

Reddy accused former Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) and his family of amassing massive wealth, alleging they accumulated assets worth thousands of crores by exploiting their positions of power. He specifically criticized the BRS leadership for failing to address local issues such as weaver suicides and worker migration to the Gulf, despite KTR's repeated electoral successes in the region. The Chief Minister asserted that the BRS has lost its political momentum and predicted that the party's influence in Telangana is coming to an end.
