Revdar: Multiple road accidents on Kandla Highway leave several injured and dead

Multiple road accidents occurred on the Kandla Highway in the Revdar area, resulting in several casualties and injuries.

In one significant collision near the Budheshwar Mahadev Temple, a trailer and a loading tempo collided with two motorcycles. The impact caused the motorcyclists to be thrown into a roadside fence. Two individuals, identified as Lakhram (67) and Ashok Giri, were pronounced dead at the hospital, while one person, Dashrath Prajapat, was injured and referred to a higher medical center. The drivers of the trailer and the tempo fled the scene following the incident.

In a separate incident on the same highway, two other motorcyclists were seriously injured after being struck by vehicles near Asawa Mod and the Lunol board. Local residents have expressed concerns regarding road safety, citing ongoing construction work that has forced one-way traffic and created large potholes, which contribute to congestion and dangerous overtaking maneuvers.
