Revelstoke to host free street dance workshops
Internationally recognized street dancers Simran Sachar and Sevrin Emnacen-Boyd will host free workshops in Revelstoke, British Columbia. The sessions, scheduled for September 11 and 12, will take place at The Studio Dance & Wellness.
Presented by the non-profit Dance West Network, the workshops will focus on w*acking and breakdancing. W*acking is an upper-body-focused style originating in Los Angeles, while breakdancing is known for power moves and footwork. The event will conclude with a community cypher, a freestyle dance circle where participants can showcase their new skills. No prior dance experience is required for attendees.
