Revenue intelligence market reaches $2.5 billion as AI replaces SaaS forecasting
The SaaS revenue intelligence market is experiencing significant growth, with the sector reaching $2.5 billion in 2026. This shift is driven by a move away from traditional spreadsheet-based forecasting toward AI-driven, signal-based pipeline visibility. Major players in the space include Gong, which surpassed $500 million in ARR in May 2026, and the newly merged entity of Clari and Salesloft, which holds approximately $450 million in ARR and serves over 5,000 customers.
Despite the rise of these tools, forecast accuracy remains a challenge. Gartner reports that sales forecast accuracy has historically hovered between 70% and 79%. While AI-assisted forecasting can achieve accuracy levels of 85% to 95% for companies with clean, milestone-based pipeline data, accuracy can drop to 50% to 60% for organizations with disorganized CRM data. The industry is currently transitioning toward predictive revenue systems that aim to integrate human decision-making with AI-driven insights.
