Nik Storonsky sued over €17.5 million yacht commission
Revolut founder and CEO Nik Storonsky is being sued in the High Court of London by luxury‑yacht broker Cecil Wright & Partners. The broker alleges Storonsky avoided paying a 5 % commission of €17.5 million on a €350 million superyacht that was purchased in January 2026. Cecil Wright says it introduced Storonsky to a 102‑metre yacht under construction by the German shipyard Lürssen and acted as the “effective cause” of the transaction. The yacht, previously owned by Canadian former ice‑hockey player Patrick Dovigi, was bought directly from Dovigi, bypassing the broker. Storonsky’s family‑office representatives have called the claim unfounded and intend to contest it in court. The dispute underscores a high‑value private‑wealth transaction involving parties from the United Kingdom, Germany and Canada.
