Revolut to launch airport VIP lounge network starting in Copenhagen

Fintech company Revolut is expanding beyond financial services into the premium travel sector with the launch of the ‘Revolut Lounge’ network. The company has signed an initial agreement with Copenhagen Airport (CPH) to open its first lounge in 2027.

The CPH Revolut Lounge is intended to be the largest shared-use lounge within the Schengen Area. The facility will be managed by the Plaza Premium Group, the world’s largest airport lounge operator. This move is part of a broader strategy to build a network of premium lounges across key priority markets in the coming years.

Revolut’s expansion aims to enhance the experience for its 75 million customers, particularly frequent travelers. The company’s ‘Ultra’ plan, which costs 55 euros per month, already includes benefits such as unlimited airport lounge access, global eSIM internet, and various travel insurances. Hadi Nasrallah, Director of Product and New Initiatives at Revolut, stated that the company aims to bring its design philosophy into the physical world to create a bold and beautiful travel experience.
