Revolution Group Srl enters race for Calcio Catania brand auction

Revolution Group Srl has become the first entity to submit the necessary documentation to participate in the upcoming auction for the historic Calcio Catania brand. The electronic auction is scheduled to take place on October 15, 2026, at 11:00 AM, following the bankruptcy proceedings.

The starting price for the trademark is set at 55,000 euros, plus VAT, with a required deposit of at least 10% of the offered price. While Revolution Group Srl has taken the first formal step, other potential bidders are expected in the coming days. These may include the current Catania FC, led by Ross Pelligra, and a private individual from Catania currently residing in Rome with a background in football.

Acquiring the original logo is considered a significant goal for the current club management to restore the identity of the historic club following its 2022 bankruptcy.
