Rewa Airport flights cancelled due to runway flooding

Heavy rainfall has disrupted aviation services at Rewa Airport, leading to the cancellation of several flights. Due to water accumulation on the runway, scheduled flights to Bhopal and Raipur were unable to operate.

An ATR 72 aircraft operating the Kolkata-Rewa-Bhopal route was forced to return to Kolkata after arriving late due to weather conditions. Alliance Air has announced that passengers affected by these cancellations will receive ticket refunds.

Specific disruptions included the cancellation of 24 tickets for the Raipur flight and 30 tickets for the Bhopal flight. Previous weather-related issues also affected a flight between Rewa and Delhi on Friday, which was unable to land due to an uncleared runway.
