Rewe Lieferservice implements new cooling technology

Rewe Lieferservice is introducing new cooling technology for the delivery of chilled and frozen food products. Following a successful practical test at the Cologne fulfillment center, the service has begun the regular use of specialized boxes.

These boxes utilize vacuum insulation panels (VIPs) provided by partner va-Q-tec to maintain temperature stability during transit. The delivery service allows customers to order groceries online via website or app, select delivery windows, and receive goods directly at their doorstep with cashless payment options such as credit card, PayPal, or invoice.
