Rewe organic products receive top ratings in consumer tests

Several organic products from the German retailer Rewe have achieved top ratings in independent consumer tests conducted by Stiftung Warentest and Öko-Test.

In a chocolate test by Stiftung Warentest, the Rewe Bio Edel-Vollmilch (37 percent cocoa) emerged as a winner. Testers praised its creamy consistency and strong cocoa flavor, noting it was free from cadmium, pesticides, and mineral oil components. The product was also noted for its competitive pricing compared to premium brands.

Additionally, Öko-Test evaluated various lemon sorbets, finding that the Rewe Bio Lemon Sorbet with the Naturland seal received the highest rating of ‘very good’. Laboratory analysis confirmed the absence of pesticide residues and harmful additives in the Rewe product.
