Rexel reports strongest quarterly sales growth since 2022

Rexel SA reported third-quarter 2026 sales of €5.45 billion, representing an 11.4% increase on a like-for-like basis. This performance marks the company's strongest quarterly sales growth since 2022.

Growth was significantly driven by the United States, where sales rose 18.2%. A major contributor was the data center segment, which more than doubled year-over-year and accounted for approximately 13% of US sales. Additionally, industrial automation sales grew by about 20%.

In Europe, sales increased 4.5% on a constant and same-day basis, supported by demand for solar solutions, electric vehicle charging infrastructure, and HVAC products. The Asia-Pacific region saw a 15.8% rise in sales, bolstered by growth in China, India, and Australia.

Following these results, Rexel raised its full-year 2026 outlook for the second time. The company now targets like-for-like sales growth of approximately 7%, up from a previous forecast of 5%, and an adjusted current EBITA margin of at least 6.4%. The company also announced an agreement to acquire GCG in the United States, its largest transaction in over 15 years.
