Rey Mysterio discusses retirement plans and potential theme song return

Professional wrestler Rey Mysterio has indicated he no longer has a specific retirement date in mind. Although he previously suggested he might retire by age 50, the WWE Hall of Famer, now approaching 52, stated he is currently enjoying his career and intends to see where his path leads.

Mysterio noted that his current schedule, which includes wrestling on RAW, serving as a General Manager, and working with AAA, provides a balance that reduces stress compared to his previous workload. He also reported being currently injury-free.

In terms of performance, Mysterio is considering reviving his original WWE entrance theme and pop-up entrance for a period before his eventual retirement. His upcoming schedule includes a match against Omos at Triplemanía 34; a victory for Mysterio would result in Omos being permanently banned from AAA.
