Reykjanesbær police investigate serious physical assault

Suðurnes Police are investigating a serious physical assault that occurred in Reykjanesbær during the early hours of Friday. According to police information, there is a suspicion that more than one individual participated in the attack and that a blunt object was used.

The victim, a man in his twenties, sought medical attention at a hospital following the incident. While police have not officially confirmed specific injuries such as broken bones or lost teeth, reports indicate the assault was particularly violent.

Two suspects, aged in their twenties and fifties, have been arrested and questioned but were subsequently released. Police are currently searching for additional suspects believed to be involved in the attack.
