Reynosa authorities investigate death following dental procedure

Authorities in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, have launched an investigation following the death of a 63-year-old woman during a dental procedure. The victim, identified as Leticia “N”, visited a clinic in the downtown area to treat jaw pain.

According to reports, the patient underwent an endodontic procedure involving anesthesia. Following the treatment, she collapsed inside the clinic. Although staff performed CPR and emergency medical maneuvers before she was transported to a local hospital, medical personnel confirmed she had no vital signs upon arrival.

The Fiscalía General de Justicia de Tamaulipas is conducting investigations and forensic studies to determine the exact cause of death and establish whether there is a direct link to the dental procedure.
