Reynosa authorities seek former partner in woman's fatal stabbing

Authorities in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, are searching for a man suspected of killing his former partner, 36-year-old Cynthia “N”. The victim was found dead in her home in the San Valentín neighborhood on Sunday morning after being attacked with a knife.

The victim's minor children discovered her body and alerted emergency services. Preliminary reports indicate she sustained wounds to her neck and sides. The primary suspect has been identified as Eleuterio “N”, approximately 50 years old, a public transport operator who had recently separated from the victim due to marital issues.

Police located and secured an abandoned public transport vehicle, believed to be driven by the suspect, a few blocks away from the crime scene. The State Prosecutor's Office has opened an investigation and is currently gathering statements from witnesses, including the children.
