Reza Pahlavi faces criticism over proposal to equip Iranian people

Discussions regarding the political strategy of the Iranian opposition have surfaced following a Fox News interview with Reza Pahlavi. The interview highlighted the concept of ‘equipping the Iranian people’ and potentially utilizing frozen Iranian assets to advance political goals.

Critics have raised concerns that moving toward the arming of citizens could lead to civil war and the collapse of central authority. They argue that there is a significant distinction between supporting the Iranian people through civil society, internet access, and diplomatic pressure, versus the military equipping of opposition groups. Such a shift could jeopardize the future stability and security structure of the country.
