RFEF awards Vulcanizados Ruiz Tafa spot in Futsal Second Division

The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has ruled that Vulcanizados Ruiz Tafa will occupy the vacancy in the Futsal Second Division following the expulsion of CFS Ribera Navarra. The decision comes after the National Futsal Committee voted to maintain the division with 16 teams.

Ribera Navarra was expelled due to inactivity and a total absence of federated licenses. The ruling resolves a dispute between Vulcanizados Ruiz Tafa and Málaga Heredia 21, both of whom were vying for the spot. While Vulcanizados Ruiz Tafa was initially given a 24-hour window to meet all requirements for the division, the club has expressed difficulty in meeting these obligations within such a short timeframe.

As a result of the restructuring, Futsal Lleida will take the place vacated by the Navarrese club in the Second Division B.
