RFEF confirms Recreativo de Huelva's place in Segunda RFEF after registration dispute

The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has cleared the outstanding registration issues for clubs in Segunda RFEF group 4. Atlético Sanluqueño and Badajoz submitted the required documentation within the deadline and retained their spots.

The remaining vacancy stems from CD Unión Malacitano, whose appeal to keep a place earned in Murcia was rejected. The federation deemed the club's relocation a violation of the law, forcing it to start the season in the Andalusian regional league.

Puente Genil has formally requested the vacant slot, arguing it deserves the place as the highest‑ranked relegated team from the previous season. The club seeks to remain in group 4 rather than be moved to group 3, a change that would require a broader reshuffle of several teams.
